TEHRAN (Mehr News Agency) – National and Foulad goalkeeper Ebrahim Mirzapour is eager to play for Persepolis, former goalie Vahid Qelich told Mehr Saturday.

The keeper-turned-coach Qelich added, “Following Persepolis-Foulad match, Mirzapour expressed his interest in signing a contract with our side. “I was supposed to talk to Persepolis Head Coach Ali Parvin but I have had no chance yet to discuss the issue with the manager.”

Mirzapour is a good goalkeeper and has a nice character as well, said the ex-keeper of Persepolis.

Qelich, who is the goalkeeping trainer of Persepolis said, “The team has right now three in-form goalies and I do not think it needs any change in this post. “I have got accustomed to working with these three keepers and they have had good performance, too. If we lose one of them, we will face a big miss. But this is Parvin, who has the final say.”
